Tutoring

Hungry Brains! at Hazel Hill (formerly Hazel Hill Homework Club) is seeking fall 2013 tutors. This program is an after-school tutoring program for diverse, low-income elementary and middle school students at the Section 8 Hazel Hill Apartments in downtown Fredericksburg, Virginia. The club is owned by the National Housing Trust and tutoring is organized through the College of Education at the University of Mary Washington. Tutoring takes place at the Hazel Hill Community Center (100 Princess Anne Street, Fredericksburg, Virginia) on Mondays – Thursdays from 4PM-6PM. We are also building a Friday after-school enrichment program with individual students.

Tutoring begins Monday, September 9th, 2013. If you are interested in tutoring, you should attend an information session. We are holding two information sessions next week.
